Teenagers and business

Teenagers do not want to be helped.  They want to be empowered.  They want equal access to information and opportunities as adults and they do not want to wait until they are 21 years or ‘old’ to get it. Adults often ask how I can get motivated and inspired young people do things like writing and publishing books, speaking for a group or even looking forward to school every day.  And I tell them that instead of trying to teach or to guide or lead me to focus my energy on generating passion and dreams of youth.  They will discover what motivates them and the parents job is to encourage full as they travel in their journey. ’Education’ with or ‘lead’ you are strengthening the role of the hierarchy in terms of an invisible person is superior and another inferior. This is often a lack of trust between young people and adults causes. Teens feel threatened and controlled in a relationship so they act out of insecurity.

I’ve worked with young people who have been able to take advantage of new technologies before they are mainstream.  With a poke around and try different things, they are able to manage the different technologies and hence more money in one month than the average adult makes in one year.  Then they go to the next thing and try again.  You’ll be very surprised to find out how simple and direct some of the ideas in their favor.

As a parent or adult in question, when a teenager shares with you some new technologies, they have found, do not be surprised with how they are interested in finding one at random. high level of enthusiasm they had expected and encouraged when they exchange ideas that seem simple or arbitrarily with you. Three important things employers teens want and need from their parents and adults in general are:

1. Enthusiasm:

Young people sincerely want to be seen in the best light by their parents, even if they have a tense relationship. An idea of something without the vision and the property of the creator. If you frown or to ask a potential idea, reflects directly on the creator. So enter their enthusiasm with the evolution exchange ideas that build “concept that seems simple ‘them.

2. Encouragement:

Very easy to get lost in your company. So check in from time to time that everything was in order keep them motivated and focused to ensure. Also celebrating the milestone that is different, since it on the larger goal is also important. Bring them out to dinner and let them support excitement and develop their ideas further.

3. Exposure:

There are several ways you can go about this, but the important thing is to just repeat that you believe in what they do and give them the opportunity to share the dream with others. You can contact the local media (newspapers, television or radio station) or the pitch to talk or workshop Chamber of Commerce, local business club host. More importantly, feeling confident about putting them in contact with people from your professional network in different areas of expertise do you see as potentially useful as you would for a friend or colleague in the same position.
Remember, the more they talk about their ideas with others and share their vision, the more it began to grow. Opportunity never thought would begin to appear and the door will open, one after another. Experience will be stronger, others close to them to share ‘strangers’ have the same joy as they meet along the road.

By following these recommendations, the land you the thrill of watching as a teenager your ideas to develop, implement and ultimately benefit from the fruits of their efforts experience.

Give them one message at a time. Always new information space so it can be absorbed and acted to provide more information.

For an appointment with a select group of representatives from the sales group to discuss issues that concern them. Published results.

4. Create Competition!

Good salespeople are very competitive especially for recognition among their peers. Develop an awards program to generate interest. Placing multiple criteria. Hold monthly progress. To create a presentation visible. Creation of a trophy and a list of past recipients.

5. Encouraging!

Again, sales people are competitive and will compete for the award to win, partly for the award, but also for recognition. Better results you want, big incentives should be. In a company, sales doubled in two years just by selling incentives.
